The story behind passion fruit oil
Passion fruit (aka Maracuja) is a small yellow or purple egg-shaped tropical fruit. It is known for its various health benefits.
Inside the fruit is an orange-coloured juicy pulp and as many as 250 small, hard, dark brown or black seeds. These aromatic, edible seeds yield around 23% of oil.
The scent of the oil is very fruit-like and is a vibrant yellow colour. The oil possesses many natural benefits for both skin and hair.
The purple passion fruit is native from southern Brazil through Paraguay to northern Argentina.
