How do you use tea tree oil?

Tea tree oil, also known as Melaleuca alternifolia or Melaleuca oil, is one of the most widely used and thoroughly researched essential oilswhich makes it a must-have for every home. The benefits of tea tree oil include cleansing properties and a refreshing scent. Therefore, this versatile oil can be used for everything from cleaning solutions to skincare.

Diffuser: Use three to four drops in a diffuser of your choice.

External use: First dilute with an optional vegetable oil to minimise skin sensitivity. Apply a few drops to the desired area and massage the oil onto the skin.

Diffuse up to 30 minutes 3 times a day.

For topical use, dilute 5-10% with an optional base oil and applied to the skin.

OBSTea tree oil can be applied directly to the skin undiluted, but we recommend that you do not follow this advice.
