Natural vitamin E (d-alpha tocopherol) - non-GMO
Vitamin E plays a crucial role in protecting skin cells and membranes from environmental damage. This protection includes preventing damage to the skin from UV rays, pollutants and normal ageing. It deeply moisturises the skin while allowing the skin to breathe and function naturally. Tocopherols help to reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
For use in cosmetics, vitamin E acts as a natural antioxidant and also helps maintain the shelf life of products*.
Externally, tocopherol oil is used to speed up the healing of scars after surgery and to promote wound healing, stretch marks, wrinkles and is generally great for the skin.
With just a few drops of vitamin E oil, you can extend the shelf life of your own cosmetic mixtures. Tocopherol (vitamin E) should not be used undiluted on the skin.

Information about vitamin E
Tocopherol is an important ingredient in blends, especially those containing essential oils. Vitamin E oil's natural antioxidant properties stop the formation of peroxides (whether in creams, lotions, oils or gels) that are harmful to the skin, ensuring your blends have a freshness and quality that makes them last longer. In addition, the antioxidant property of vitamin E increases the quality of your final skincare product.
Tocopherol does not oxidise and penetrates through the skin to the living cells, where approximately 5% is converted into free tocopherols that provide a beneficial antioxidant effect.
