Jojoba oil for hair

Our scalp produces natural oils every day to rejuvenate and cleanse your hair, but unfortunately, the early stages of this process can leave your hair feeling and looking greasy. If you're not willing to give your hair a rest from all kinds of shampoos that eventually make your hair dry, you can jojoba oil be a great help for your hair.

It mimics the qualities of the natural oil your body produces and can actually trick your scalp into slowing down its oil production. Jojoba oil not only offers deep moisturisation, but also acts as a kind of soap for the scalp and quickly scrubs dandruff away.

There's some debate as to whether jojoba oil is the king of oils when it comes to skincare. We don't pick a favourite among our children, but one thing is certain. Many Scalp related problems is caused by a hardened build-up of sebum that clogs hair follicles, which can cause certain types of scaling and/or acne. If this hardened build-up is not removed, it can ultimately hinder the hair follicle's ability to function properly. Jojoba oil penetrates relatively quickly to the scalp and hair, dissolving this hardened build-up.

The scalp and hair follicles are left clean and free to continue their normal functions. Jojoba oil is great for all hair types and has the ability to inhibit excess sebaceous gland activity, making it the perfect choice for people with oily scalps who still want a conditioner. It can also be used on dry hair as it helps moisturise the hair.

Hi, is it possible to mix all the oils together to apply to the hair; will it have the best possible result in the long run?

    Hi Sams,

Yes, you can mix vegetable oils and get properties from all of them individually, but it might be best to mix a few and not all of them. But in the end, of course, it's entirely up to you.
